Is Otis O-12 copper remove rthe same as KG-12?

Has anyone any info as to whether the Otis O12 is the same as KG-12 coper remover. Just working with some old Mosins and I think the barrels are made of copper rather than rear iron. Looking for something to keep my patch expenses under control.
