Is my thinking correct that I can take my 6br barrel and have someone punch my chamber out to a 6bra or one of the other improved versions? Or do I have to have a complete rechamber?
Thanks

No complete rechamber at all. If I were helping going from BR to BR-AI I`d move shoulder of current barrel in .010" to .015" and adjust tenon length same amount then run in new BR-AI reamer to headspace where new brass closes with a little tension on close. Providing you consider such obvious differences such as neck diameters you`ll be good to go. I have done this on my personal barrels and worked just fine.Is my thinking correct that I can take my 6br barrel and have someone punch my chamber out to a 6bra or one of the other improved versions? Thanks guys!
Does this cost as much as a complete chamber job?
