Maybe I'm being a bit sensitive about this, but I have noticed a rash of resurrected old threads appearing. Must mean some are using the search function and going way back into the archives.

Its those threads that pop up at the bottom as youre reading other posts- because surely the search function isnt being utilized

Winter! Look for good deals in the classifieds as guys change out their guns and scopes for the “new hot thing”. They’ll also do loading room clean outs (maybe some spousal motivation involved) and dump components, too. January and February can be good months for deals!
........and old thread resurfacing. Just don’t bite on any political comments! Cabin fever can cause fires!

Msybe instead of posting a question, the OP is searching archives for answers, which creates new questions. Best utilization of the forum.

You know it's funny, people are "corrected" when they ask a question and someone says "go do a search, this has been answered before many times". Then when someone DOES a search and makes a comment or asks a question, people want to know why a thread has reappeared! I guess you just can't win..

I love zombie threads, tons of great information, haven’t noticed any rashes but it’s still early

I wasn't insinuating that there was anything "wrong" with it just a proliferation of. And yes, there is some new information added.
I'm kind of going with the winter thing.
