is .025 enough clearance?

I just got my stainless steel rings from Murphy Precision and test mounted my scope. I have .025 clearance between the scope bell and barrel. Is this going to be enough clearance? I don't want the barrel and scope to contact upon firing, but I doubt it will happen with a heavy rifle and small caliber. I don't want to go with the next higher rings as they are .200 taller and my cheek piece will run out of adjustment in order to try to keep a good cheek weld. Any help is appreciated before I go through the work of polishing these babies up.

I ended up talking to the ring manufacturer after I posted that yesterday. I needed to get his torque specs for the rings. He also told me it would be fine. Especially in a 20 lbs gun chambered in 6mm Comp Match.

Thanks for the reply.
