Working on load development and fire forming cases for my .22-.284 and it has earned a trip to the fields. I got setup and started glasses when one appeared 10 yards from my bench! A 12-42X NF scope made focusing next to impossible but the 80 grain A-Max at 3500 fps killed the Boar with out need for come-ups or wind dope! I build a 1200 yard rig and get a 10 yard shot! #41 anyway.
A while later this old Boar was cruising the fence line at a whopping 113 yards. No bullet exit which made me very happy! And #42 goes down!
I could see 600+ yards but nothing wanted to give my wind doping a try, it was 3-7 mph and switchy.
