iosso ?

I've found bronze wool wrapped around a brush increases the effectiveness of brushing.
But, for me, the huge downside is how to get the brush/bronze wool clean after scrubbing. Even a bunch of brake cleaner doesn't get everything out - and I really don't like spraying lots of that stuff in my basement.

I wrap the wool around a parker hale jag and dispose of the wool after, no need to clean it.

I hope you are joking, you think bronze wool will enlarge the bore of a stainless steel barrel? So you only use felt patches and liquid, no abrasive or brushes i guess?
Yes I am, after so many of these post it really starts to get old though. I'm sure you know. I probably use more than most as far as abrasives go, I want a clean barrel.

I've been using a old brush with a patch wrapped around it with iosso on it and short stroking the length of the barrel but not going out the end of the muzzle. Then I use a brush one caliber up from the size of bore with a small piece of a patch with iosso on it to get carbon ring area cleaned up. I'm also Running a patch of patch out first to wet bore before using iosso. This seems to work for me.
