For those that haven't heard there will be an international team match called the "Stars & Stripes Challenge" fired on 16 September 2012 in Raton, NM. This is the day between the end of the SoA (Fullbore Nationals) and the beginning of the F-Class Nationals. Good training for the FCN.
We expect National teams from South Africa, Australia, Canada and of course the USA. These are 8- firing member teams. Half F/TR and half F-Open. Only one 8-man team from each country is allowed.
To allow more shooters to participate 4-man F/TR and 4-man FO teams can also shot for separate medals. Anyone can enter a team. These 4-man teams can be made up from any country or a combination of countries. Not to leave out the sling shooters they are invited to enter teams also.
You can enter electronically at the new Bald Eagles web site http://www.baldeaglesrc.org if you are so inclined. The program is located at - http://www.baldeaglesrc.org/resources/documents/2012_Stars_&_Stripes_Program_4a2Bartlein.pdf
It would be nice to know how many 4-man teams are entering for planning purposes. If you are coming to shoot please drop me a line; snail or e-mail at the address on the program.
Thanks,
Larry Bartholome
