Interesting sporter job

I was cruising the internet looking for stock ideas and came across a photo of a 1903 sporter. It looks pretty tasteful. I'm guessing a weaver side mount and a kolmorgen or weaver scope. Wondering if there would have been enough eye relief for this to work though.
 
I didn't think vintage optics had that much eye relief. Still, looks like a neat old rifle.
 
There's tons of sporterized 1903s out there. That one looks very nice, some of them, not so much. My Grandfather's sporterized 1903 was made by hacking up the military stock. The first centerfire rifle I ever shot, but a thing of beauty it was not.
