Inside the neck donuts

What's the best way to remove these donuts and where to buy the tools?
Thanks
  The "best way" is to turn the inside like one turns the outside necks. There's a very fine tool that does that :

Since I don't find a need to spend that kind of money, I simply run a mandrel through my annealed necks and the donuts are moved out of the way. . . even when they're ~.002" thick (as I've taken measurements with my pin gauges ;)).

This is a magazine fed gun. And I want to use the magazine I have plenty of single shots. So I have no choice but to put the bullet where it needs to be and it shoots excellent at this position. But this brass has developed some donuts on the inside and I just want to cut them out. The idod is a great machine but I'm not going to spend $2,000 to cut 60 donuts out I'll throw the brass out first. Just looking for a simple tool to remove the donut on the inside would be nice if 21st century made something as I have their neck Turner. I also have a Wilson case trimmer so maybe I'll buy one of theirs. Just looking to hear my options.
Thanks again for your help.

lol . . . you did simply ask for the "best" way. ;)

Likewise, I'm not going to spend that kind of money either for my relatively small amount of brass I process.

I would think your 21st Century tool could do just fine with a reamer to get rid of your donuts. A few years ago I used the Wilson case trimmer I had and it did ok, though I just didn't like all the hand cranking.

You are correct I did ask for the best way. Sorry about that I should have given more info and less attitude.

One of the best tools for producing a concentric, doughnut-free neck, was the old Lee Target Model loader. A similar tool, but more versatile, could be made. utilizing a bushing and a piloted boring bar, one could easily eliminate inner imperfections. There are some problems with using a mandrel and turning to remove a doughnut. WH

You must be 80 years old like me.
The only good thing is the neck is held in the die while reaming.

If reaming without neck being in the die, what going to keep reamer centered. Nothing.

Run a mandrel in the necks, push the donuts to the outside, then turn the necks.
My way of doing it.

The RCBS trimmers have pilots that trim the inside of the case while you are turning the necks.

Lee Target Model is on principle a boring bar so as not to follow the neck. Zediker and others talk of reshaping Wilson tool reamers for an exact dimension to suit doughnuts for the brass in hand while preserving turned neck dimensions.

K&M makes a carbide cutter arbor made exactly for this purpose and I think its 21st Century that makes a arbor adapter to allow K&M cutting arbor to be used in their turning tool and it is sized the same as the 21st arbor pilot, I have one for 30BR. https://21stcenturyinnovation.com/buy-online/ols/products/lathe-accessory-package/v/902-KM https://kmshooting.com/product/carbide-cutting-pilots/

Since you have a Wilson case trimmer...you're in luck. :) Wilson makes inside neck reamers that are used in their case trimmer. They are simple to use and relatively inexpensive. I've used them for a long time with great results and have them in .0005 increments for several calibers.

A couple of things to keep in mind:
-Remove the donuts from fired but unsized cases.
-Use a pin gauge to determine the I.D. of a fired case neck above the donut.
-Order a reamer from Wilson .0005 (half a thou.) under the measured fired case neck I.D.

One other thing to remember: 'standard' Wilson neck reamers are over bullet diameter by a few thou. On their web site, Wilson lists what the standard reamer dimension are....the standard one may well work for you. Wilson will make custom size neck reamers in just a couple days.

This is what the setup looks like, courtesy of Tony Boyer's book. The cutter in this pic is a chucking reamer versus the Wilson reamer but this gives you the general idea. The fired cases go in the standard case holder.
