Insert ring sets question

Is there any scope ring mfg. that make insert ring sets like the Burris Signature series, but in an aluminum or lighter version then are the Burris Signature series?

Those steel Burris Signatures don't weigh much. Weight saving over aluminum would only be a few ounces.

They Burris inserts are a high-grade plastic, but the bodies were originally steel and most are currently aluminum. I'm not aware of anyone else who manufactures rings with spherical bushings. The plastic bushings grip the scope tube much better than metal ones would, and are less likely to mar or deform the scope tube. I've used nothing else for over 20 years.

Another little benefit of the Burris inserts is that they self-correct for small alignment differences. An example of this is a .25 cal PCP airgun I have. I like to sit out on the front porch and shoot at old circular saw blades set in the treeline about 100-125 yards across the lawn. The scope on that rifle was at the edge of adjustment to get on target at that distance, so I just shimmed the rear ring base, kinda making my own version of a 20MOA mount. Since the ring inserts can move inside the rings, they self correct, and don't put stress on the scope tube with an intentional mis-alignment like this. They do make eccentric inserts to do this, but for me, shimming was faster and easier.
I think they do a much better job all around.

Along this line of discussion: Does anybody make 30 mm ring inserts that fit Burris signature rings? As far as I can tell even Burris doesn't sell the inserts unless you buy the rings. They sell 1" inserts but not 30 mm for some reason.
