Info on Tikka T3 Tac

Need help. I have the Tikka T3 Tac, and need to know if the supplied scope base is flat or does it have a 20 MOA built in? Sounds strange I suppose, but I intend to shoot to 1000 M and need this feature. if they didn't add it into the mix, then I'll get one from EGW or someplace. Or maybe someone can tell me how to measure on the gun to see? Thanks.

You will be able to see the declination in a 20moa rail if the bridges on the Tikka are of equal height. The Sako TRG has equal height bridges and I believe the Tikka is the same. The factory rail on a TRG is zero moa. The factory rail on a TRG is installed using a Loc-Tite type of a compound and heat is required to remove the screws. I would imagine the Tikka is the same.

If you have enough elevation adjustment in your scope you may be able to get to 1000m. without changing out the rail.

They are flat.
Look to EGW mounts - they have Tikka rails with 20 MOA.

dicken,

Would you consider parting with your Tikka rail if you replace it. PM me if you like. ;D
