So Thanksgiving day I ran a ladder at 300 yards with a used 6br barrel I was given but still shot fine. Working up from 30.0 to 30.8gr of varget with the 95smk. The rifle shot well at 30.0 and 30.2 with 30.4 opening up slightly. The velocities for my 30.2 group was 2856, 2864, 2870. After I fired all my brass I did not anneal or tumble the cases like I normally do, I simply brushed the inside necks and ran through full length sizer before throwing powder and seating my bullets. Today on the range the load I had chose excelled in both s.d. and shooting flat. My speeds was well into 2890’s why would that have been ? It was cooler today than Thursday when I tested . I also used the same lot of powder, primers and bullets. Could not annealing and tumbling cause what I experienced ? Thanks
EDIT\\\. I also did not anneal or tumble the brass prior to testing at 300 either
