Some days every thing just clicks. Today I pulled my 223 Weatherby Super Varmint Master out of the safe to get ready for the 2018 ghog campaign. My go to load these days is 55 Nosler BT w/ 25.0 grains H4895 and Federal 205M match primers.
I went to the range and shot five rounds at 100 yards and five at 200 yards off my shooting sticks to tune up for ghog season. Shot a perfect score which for me is 5 shots in a 1" circle at 100 yards and 5 in a 2" circle at 200 yards. This isn't the norm for me being an old man but that Weatherby is the most accurate out of the box factory rifle I've ever owned and if I do my part this gun really performs.
Wish I could figure how to post the target on here so I could do a little bragging.
Anyway, I was in the zone today, following all the fundamentals, taking my time. All cold barrel shots. Excited to get rolling. Going on a recon mission Saturday since weather here is suppose to be mild.
