In need of 77 Grain Sierra TMKs

MidSouth Shooters has had Sierra 77SMK blemished. I bought 500 of them a couple of months ago. I couldn't see a difference between the blemished and the good ones.

My load is 23 GR of H4895, Lapua Brass, Fed205M, 77gr SMK

Thanks. It needs to be the TMKs. Different performance on deer.

I scored 100 from a nice member who had them on hand. Should be enough for testing and loading a few boxes for deer season.

Purchased a Riton 1 PRIMAL 4-16x44 for $150 free shipping. Regular price was $276. They have a big sale plus another discount code who_tee_who.

The 77TMK is pretty sweet in the AR, it accepts jump well. I have had the same (and better) groups switching to Berger 77gr OTM tactical.
If you cannot find the TMK's maybe give these a try.

I use the hornady 75 bthp with same group size with cfe 223. Those bullets are arround and in bulk. Also that powder is around. H4895 is angel dust right now.

Looking for some good terminal performance on medium size deer. Will need to do some research.

I snagged 2 lb a while back on GunBroker and embarrassed to share the price. It was for reduced loads on a 270 Win.

I know you meant "angel" and I agree 100% with you. I have been looking for some for almost 4 months.

Staball Match worked well when we tried it on 80 SMKs a month ago. Settled on 24.8, 2840 fps average. Dropped to 24.3 on 77s, it duplicated the BH MK262 Mod1 velocity and precision in a service rifle, 4.5X optics, 200 yards.

77 TMKs are very promising. If anyone sees anymore up for sale or has the urge to offload some of those big stashes you have, let me know.

I think a lot of ammo manufacturers are buying them. I see that even PSA's AAC brand offers 77gr Sierra TMK. Not a bad price either. I tried some of their 5.56 Vmax in a Remington 783 and the first 5 went into a half inch. The ones I tried are seated long, amost to mag length.

I'm sorry for digressing. I know you just wanted bullets.
