IMR 8208 XBR w/ .222 Remington

Anybody had good results with this powder in a .222 Remington? Will be running 40-53 gr. bullets with the primary focus being on 50 grainers. Thanks! :)

No experience with 8208XBR in a .222, but it works well in .223 and 6BR and BRX and Dasher so it should work in a .222.

Mines not chambered yet, but I really want to try LT-30 with the 40gr. bullets.....

Tripledeuce.net has some results I believe. Better for the "heavier" 50-55gr range, but will be just fine for all. I'd recommend one of the 4198s for the 40gr range.

Modify: I'm wrong, not on .net site, but I just found it somewhere a few days ago. Might have been here if you search... I'm loading some up today as I'm out of h322 and too lazy to go to store.

Groups in the 2's with 40 V-Max and 24.5 gr., giving about 3400 fps with 26" bbl. Groups in the 3's with 50 V-Max and 22.5-23.0 gr. Not sure on velocity, seems like in the 3200 range. 205M primers and R-P brass.

My .222 likes a 40gr sierra blitzking and 8208, sorry to say that I haven't tried any 50's with the powder
