IMR 4227 for 9MM

The interesting thing with 4227 is it works in some rifle cartridges like 2400 and unique. It's just to slow for most modern handguns.
I have 8lbs of H4227 that came in a cardboard box. When I bought it 15 years ago it was already old, but the box was unopened.

I transferred it to an empty 8lb jug, and it is what now fuels my 357 magnum and 300Blk cartridges.

I think that shows that the powder is simply too slow to be of any use.
Plus, any load where the start and max loads are same is a load I'm not going to try.
