800 yd from the shooting building, After this last thicket cleared, I may be able to shoot 1100 yd but not from the covered benchesA 500 yd+ range on your property? Cant beat it!
You are always welcome to come to our little range if you want to go farther off concrete benches Randy. The Dome is a great place for sure , enjoy every time we get there.800 yd from the shooting building, After this last thicket cleared, I may be able to shoot 1100 yd but not from the covered benches
You still got that 284?I am getting the urge to shoot again. Every day I think I will shoot tomorrow but seems like chainsaws, bush hogs, tractors, etc. seem to be more important right now. But as this thicket clears I am getting yancy. I even put up a new piece of 3'x4' AR 500 yesterday. Now, to choose which rifle and caliber I want to shoot first. 6.5 x 284, Dasher, BRX, 6 Br, 6 XC, 6 BRAI (naw, can't get comfortable with it), PPC, 375 Cheytac Now, which action Viper, Viper SS, Bat SB, 700 Titanium, STiller TAC 408????? Decisions, decisions
Oh yea. Forgot the straight 284.You still got that 284?
I have ofter wondered the same thing. Lots of time to spend in the old days with no towns, TV, ball games, restaruants, etc., but much time for two man saws, axes, plus the wood cut was used to warm the cabins. They had no clutter in their lives to interfere with hard labor.Looks like all the work is going to reveal several acres of productive land.
I can't imagine how difficult it was for the original settlers to clear land with the tools they had available to them.
