Illinois passes conceal carry today!

Illinois is the ONLY state in America that doesnt allow conceal and carry. That has changed today! Carry Bill HB183 was passed today because the house and senate re-voted to override Gov Quinn's veto from last month. Another win guys! This bill is not perfect by a long shot, but its a step in the right direction

I live behind the Cheddar Curtain. Do you know if IL. accepts my WI. CC permit? It has been a PIA living 6 mi. from the state line and not being able to carry.

Maybe there will be reciprocity worked out at a later date. I try to avoid IL. as much as possible. I will always drive 100 miles out of my way to avoid Chicago.

I am a long time Illinois resident or should I say State of Cook County! Yea it passed but now they granted 6 months for state police to come up with guidelines for training, Its still a joke in my book! Separate cook county from the rest of the state as Capitalist America on the lake! Bye the time they figure it all out the current Governor will most likely be fighting corruption charges. We have 2 past Governors in he pen now! I cant wait to retire and get the heck out of here! They should have renamed Illinois the Daley State years ago! It is the bottom load of all the corruption! Nuff Said!
