Ignore list

Half a dozen.

I add people when I see for sale stuff go south and it's obvious who was at fault. I don't want to forget to not deal with them. I do add the occasional jerk too, I just don't want to waste my time contemplating a reply to their comments.

How long is your ignore list ?

I have a few on mine- only because of a couple threads- seems to be the only way to keep them from popping up first..
i had to look. there were only 2 and i dont remember what their posts even were. i generally dont put people on the ignore list because i want to see all thats going on. i dont need to read every post. i read the ones i want and skip the rest. it only takes a few seconds to decide if i want to finish reading a post or not if i dont recognize the poster.
some i do recognize i want to ignore some of their stuff but not all of it. i figure spending a little more time deciding what i want to read is one price i pay for getting the most out of the forum. if a person checks in often it usually doesnt take long. sometimes its not even the gun topic its just interesting seeing the diff personalities. been here since 2010 so i guess Im a newbie— i must be on a few ignore lists by now though.

I have none.

I don't mind if someone disagrees with me. In doing so, I may learn something from them.

I don't mind if something blocks me, that's their privilege. I probably do not have a lot, if anything, to offer top level competitive rifle shooters anyway. I am only a semi-precision shooter and the only shooter sports related subject that I am expert on is groundhog behavior. ;)

If you want to see what the member on your ignore list has posted, there's an option for that.
I mostly use it to remind myself that I need to remember to take anything I choose to read with a big grain of salt.

I have 0. All information is good information even if you don't agree with it. It helps a person understand other points of view and clarify ones own viewpoints. I read liberal news, conservative news and occasionally listen to NPR every morning now that I'm retired. I read liberal news to find out what the current lies being pitched as gospel to the faithful are. I read conservative news to find out what appears to be mostly truth, but it can be biased as well or have glaring omissions. I listen to NPR because I think it is important to understand what the more intelligent socialists are thinking. That and my tax dollars are paying for it.
