The next event was wind-reading by Mid Tompkins (sp?). He demonstrated reading the mirage effectively in a fishtail situation. I didn't see who was doing the shooting (F/TR), but Mid's wind calls were right on. He also described in a quite detailed way how to use the flags and the mirage for a complete and combined picture of the wind.

Keith, what was your correct 1000 yard score?
I had a 148 at 1k, not a 143. It made a big change for Friday's score, however I stuggled like many others today. Current agg has Bob Sebold leading, David Mann one point behind in second, and Christine Harris 2 points back in third. Sunday will be interesting!
