Ideas/Input Please: Indoor Range Rifle Benches

Nodak7mm

Team Lefse
I am looking for all ideas, alternatives, thoughts & pictures of strong, sturdy, & manuverable (move into/out of position) for a rifle bench that will be utilized indoors and won't need to be moved much farther than 10'.

I am aware of the various varminting type of benches as I have made quite a few. Not looking for lightweight/collapsable type.

Looking for one that can be wheeled/manuvered/carried into place yet sturdy enough to be vibration resistant and have enough surface area/room to make a benchrest shooter with all equipment happy.

All ideas welcome. If you want to talk offline, please pm me. Thanks for taking time to read..

I'm gonna send you a picture of mine big boy. It is portable but you better be strong. Ha that's the 4wd model and is solid enough that I can walk around on the top of the 54 x 36 deck.

Rod- If this is for the new WF range is it an "almost permanent" bench? If so probably some .120 square or rectangular powder coated tubing as a frame and something like a heavy wood or concrete deck on it. I have a pretty well equipped shop...get some plans or come on over some weekend, do some shooting and build a prototype or two!! Eric in DL

This man is right and a locking wheeled version with a concrete top is the way to go.

Eric and Mike,

At this point I have been asked for opinions and input, hoping to gather some plans or pics of working models to propose. I may or may not be involved in procurement/mfg..

Eric, appreciate the offer and I hope to make it over there again, this time for more than coffee.. Work has me booked solid traveling till end of June.

I posted this a few months ago. Relatively straight forward...
