Same but different as it is now 2021 but Alex Linn still rules.

Can't show Alex with the giant winners' trophy as someone left it at home in their office. It will come to Alex and you should come to get one too.

The fog gave us an hour delay but when it lifted things got going. First couple of relays were super. Then the wind and mirage made it typical Manatee so the scores went down and the groups went up. Things sure went well as we have cleaned up the line calls and sped things up to the enjoyment of the shooting crowd.

The backings again worked well with no controversy around shots on target. I had to be official scorer and showed off how well the backing worked when a few targets with backings attached came back. It is oh so easy to prove shot numbers with the backings.

Good food and good fun goes with shooting at Manatee. All we need is you. February 20 and 21 is our IBS Florida Championship. The prize table is outstanding and so will be there entire event. Send in your reservation so we can have a shirt made for you and get you into the computer.

This is the place to be in February

This match it was sausage, pasta, drinks and
treats. Here is one of the scoring helpers, Jack Bockman, enjoying what was left after working to get the results finalized.

For those curious, this is what the fog was like near the end of the hour fog delay. We still had fun and the early conditions were great.

Think this is Kevin Smith looking downrange. What is not clear in this picture is the rows of wind flags all across the 200 yard and 400 yard distances, plus some on each side around 80 yards. We want you to see where the wind changes occur at different distances.

Match directors work hard to make your experience pleasant while nature most always makes it challenging.
