The IBS Winter Meeting on Jan 16, 2021 is going virtual via Zoom.

Please see invitation below. It takes you to the Zoom registration which only calls for a name and email. Right after registering you get an email with the Zoom link to the IBS Annual Meeting on January 16th at 9:00 a.m. EST and instructions for telephone only participation. Those audio call-in numbers are duplicated below.

This is a Zoom meeting, but Recording Secretary Kay Aikey and I will be in a meeting room in Lewisburg, PA. We have arranged for a video camera in the room to stream the proceedings, but most of the meeting will be my screen share which is an extended PowerPoint. From time to time, I will turn over the screen to others, such as incoming IBS President David Matthews, committee chairs, and even Jack Neary, new President of the NBRSA. Incoming IBS President David Matthews and I both have engaged Jack in phone calls to see where the two organizations can cooperate.

You WILL be able to just call in like a normal teleconference, but it will be MUCH better to have the full video too.

I watched this meeting this morning. Well worth the time. I especially enjoyed Jack Neary’s presentation about growing Bench Rest.

Jeff I want to Thank You again for all you have done for this sport . The meeting went great I think this is probably in the future as we move forward. I was glad to have Jack on as well as we have already had conversations of things we can do that benefits the shooters as well as the sport as a whole . We are a lot stronger moving forward working together to grow the sport .
Again Thank Everyone for trusting me to have this position I am very humbled by the amount of support I have to do this .
Kent and Bill Thank Each of you as well for doing what it took and making this sport the best it can be .

Missed it also. Had a steel shoot at Manatee and did not get back and settled until 2 PM. Figured that was way too late.

Be nice to view it somehow.

Anyone tape this for later viewing?

I dont know about anyone that taped it. BUT, if you look on the IBS Website under NEWS, there is the 73 page slide presentation that was shown during the meeting. Alot of the info and pictures from the meeting is on the slides. I would like to extend a big thanks to all the officers, staff, and shooters that work very hard (unpaid) to make the IBS such a success over the years! THANK YOU to all! Samuel and Hunter Hall

Yes, a well done meeting with folks from Montana to Maine...not sure if anyone from CA was there. IBS is financially healthy, shoot attendance was down a bit but it was a rough year, got to see the winners of various disciplines and Jeff did a nice job with short interviews of each. I missed the in person aspect of the winter meeting but didn't miss the drive home. Nice job.
