Annual Meeting Announcement

The GBA Annual Meeting will be held at the Harry Jones Memorial Range on March 25, 2023. The meeting will start at Noon, and lunch will be served compliments of GBA.

There will be a 600 yard two target competition starting at about 10:00 am for those interested. No match fee. This competition is only open to GBA members (2022 or 2023).

This match will follow the Harry Jones Outlaw match format with two Classes. One class combines Tactical + Factory and One class combines Light + Heavy. Cash awards will be made to the Group and Score winners in each class (total of 4 cash awards). Each shooter can only win one cash award at this match.

Note that the range will be cold beginning at 9:30 am, so if you need to sight-in a rifle, get there early.

We are very pleased to announce another first for the Global Benchrest Association! The GBA Board has just voted to add Factory Class to One Mile competition. It seems that the time has now arrived to shoot Factory Class at One Mile. There have been recent advances in calibers and accuracy for Factory guns that should allow our shooters to reach way out there!

The GBA Factory class is for production rifles costing no more than $2500 MSRP, not including optics, rings, a new trigger, or an added muzzle brake. A Factory rifle in its "as fired" configuration may not exceed 17 pounds.
