IBS 1000 YD competators PLEASE READ !!!!

Tom then do it!

The new rulebook was written by the LRC giving the LRC carte blanche is a huge part of the problem. They took SOY out of the rulebook and made it SOLELY under their control. Seems they did the same thing with the nationals and now made up new rules where the host club must have showeres, 15 benches and toilets etc. Amazing coincidence ONLY one club meets that criteria and they got the nationals while 2 other clubs were deemed not qualified to hold the nationals.

I posted how the agenda items info and the how the winter meeting really works so shooters can write agenda items to take back control fix things that they feel are are wrong. It is not that difficult but it will take coordination with like minds willing to go to the meeting and each carrying another shooters proxy vote. That is after they or you write the pertinent agenda items and get 25 signature.

Old saying when it is not about money, it is always about money. Same thing applies to politics with the IBS and LRC. Nothing new with this LRC either. Just the way it is

I'm certainly waiting and watching to see how things pan out.
Any updates yet?
Well my understanding is the ballots be postmarked by January 1st 2019 an whatever ever transpired from the vote I will live with it I think the main objective is to give the Long range committee some ideas to make our shooting discipline stronger an they have some work to do but I think they will do the shooters proud.

Don't let it deter you. I realize what it "looks" like, but it's not. Realize that the 1k shooters cover many miles, and getting everyone together at a annual meeting just ain't going to happen. Remember the saying, bad news travels faster than good news.... This stuff being bounced back and forth on a forum is a similar thing, where as someone unhappy with something is more likely to speak up. I don't think it's a bad thing actually to be honest.

I've been shooting ibs 1k for only 4 seasons and am for the most part impressed with everyone I've met. The one and only complaint you're going to hear from me is the constant changing of things. If anything, it's to easy for the shooters to change the rules IN MY OPINION. If I was to write an agenda ever(which would go against my beliefs of leaving shit alone), it would be something along the lines of freezing all rules until online voting is functional.

Merry Christmas everyone,

Tom
This I gotta agree with, a constant change of rules to expand the sport does just the opposite..
