Yea you are right, I was so tired of the cheating. Watch guys shoot a 100 and the trace was going out in the woods, People shooting guns over 17 lb in LG. and there bud brings up a bolt to weigh the gun with, rule changes without a vote and if was changed they change it again.... I don't understand any reason to ever say 1 range 1 club. What is the point of this? As a outsider i would say if a club wants to shoot let them who cares where they do it as long as people are shooting.

Then stop reading this stuff, it does not represent the IBS as a whole. I would recommend that to everyone. Its been fun posting here over the years but the time to pull away has come. Social media brings out traits in people that you do not see in the real world.

When the rules were adopted, clubs could schedule as many matches as the wanted, but only the first 10 counted for SOTY points. That was done to level the playing field from ranges that could possible shoot 12 months out of the year, versus clubs in the snow belt that could barely get 10 matches in per season.

Or one match per range and Nationals, so everybody can shoot most the point matches without spending a fortune traveling. It would make it more head to head. It would level the field more and take ranges out the picture. Matt

Our sport is in a struggle with the government constantly. The price of equipment is prohibitive to many.
I just cant imagine us restricting ourselves.

As i said i dont shoot IBS i shoot f class locally and if my schedule every aligns i plan to shoot some 3 gun.
