Desperate times .... "long-haul" shortage mentality:

I was going to buy a quality barrel, BUT I had to pay 2x-3x price for bullets. Now, I'm broke and definitely pissed at the idea of another 6-12mos delay for my barrel!!! Hmmm - I can buy a cheap barrel that is currently available, and then DIY polish it to mirror smooth.

There is a learning curve. You can't polish a Turd and expect Gold. That only works on a magic lamp.

Desperate Times - Who is going to buy/try some of David Tubb's polishing bullets???

* Please provide a full write-up so that I can make an educated decision on the box of them sitting on my shelf for past year

I have tried David Tubbs final finish bullets in a friend of mine 270, he had a very well used and slightly rusty pitted bore and it showed an actual improvement when I was all done my friend was very happy with the performance of his rifle

It is getting crazy out there... Although not gun related I paid $4.00 a can for Frito lay bean dip yesterday... That crazy.... The other day it was 2 cases of cokes , two small steaks and the stuff to do a oil change on my Toyota $97... It's not like I was at some high price place both this and the bean dip bought at Walmart....

None, but they arent producing them right now due to running what sells the most- 9mm, 223, 6.5, etc

Yep! I understand that. There are more Hornadys on the shelf every place I go. I am sure they will get around to them eventually.
