These days you go with what you got, and I got 12 pounds of ACC 2230Try Vihtavuori N133. Works very well with 52 gr FB target bullets. Very little copper fouling.

I've got 2LB of 3031 and 2lb of H-380 I'm saving for a 220 Swift 14 twist that's coming next week, be using the same bullets, hope they work.Try 3031 works !!!
I've got to find some sm. rifle primers pretty soon, but we got trading material. Going to start at 25.5 and ease my way to 26, maybe 26.2 slowly.On a small case like the 223, I think you need smaller powder increments, .3 then .2 when you think you are about there. For a varmint gun, I've been known to go without the extra refinement. What you got should work out to 300 yds. Enjoy.
