I NEED TO LOOK THROUGH A 8-80 MACH RIFLE SCOPE

FOLKS. I am thinking about buying a March 8-80 power scope. I have never looked through one.
I would like to pay some one $40.00 for the opportunity to look through one over the xmas holiday season. Pay for your time so I can look through one before I buy one. I LIVE IN MUSCATINE IOWA , 30 miles south of Quad Cities. I would be willing to travel through out Iowa , ILL , WI to look through one of these Rifle scopes. PM ME HERE OR CALL OR TEXT ME AT 701-412-1395 and let's set something up in December. thanks. Marty

You need to get the name right, it's March (as in the month,) not mach as in the speed of sound ratio, and even that would be Mach named after Ernst Mach, the Austrian physicist.

With that out of the way, I'm guessing you have given up on your quest for the 100X scope.

We have a couple of team members who have the March-X 8-80X56 (and I run a March-X 5-50X56 myself.) I would say that if you wanted to come visit us at Bayou Rifles I'm sure the folks would let you look through their 8-80X56 pointed at a 1000 yard target to boot. The monthly 1000 yard match is held on the first Sunday of every month; our next match will be December 3rd. (we shoot all year.)

yep i need to change the spelling on my add. I had detached retina in my shooting eye in February and after 3 laser operations and spending $30,000 i still cannot see i cannot even make out the red alot of times when i misspell a word or in this case spell check did not catch it i guess . i have not shot a gun since Feb 9 and trying to get a 100x power scope manufactured . Go figure. still talking 2 couple companies on trying to get a 100x power scope made. I want to see what the 80x power looks like in person . Gives me something talk too them about quality of glass . kind of tough talking to a company about 100x scope and i have never looked through the 80x power one. I might have to buy one and then have them see how close they can get to this type of quality glass. turtle were is Bayou rifles ? thanks. Marty

man i wish i was closer to you i would take you guys up on it. i spent some time in San Anglo ( spelling ) in Wind tower business ) their is a great Blues club there called Sealy flats ( spelling ) great frog legs and blues music. marty

San Angelo is 300 miles northwest of Houston. There are a few decent restaurants in Houston, but I've not seen frogs legs on the menu in a very long time. That's not a problem as I've never developed a taste for them. They are best characterized with the word "yuck."

I'm not sure what Wind tower business is but if it has to do with the giant bird Cuisinarts all over west and north Texas, I can understand going to San Angelo for that.

At any rate, it's the best I can do. Iowa to Houston is a hard day's drive, but you can even participate in a 1000 yard match. Just FYI, Bayou Rifles Inc, (BRI) is planning to hold another Intro to competition/wind clinic/1000 yard match weekend in early March. Four years ago, we had over 50 people attend that class and a few of them became championship shooters.

You might want to put that on your calendar. I'm sure we will have a couple shooters with the March-X 8-80X56 present.
