I bought this gun from a guy here, a few years ago. I figured I’d try a Howa. It came disassembled. When I put it together, some internal magazine parts were missing. I got crickets from the seller. I just found the mag parts from a nice guy in Ca.. I pulled the gun out, installed the parts and thought I was good. Not so much. The trigger is fubar! It’s housing has been ground, next to the action and the bolt that holds it to the action has been replaced with a philips head screw, which was loose. I tightened it down but that makes the trigger completely inoperable.
Live and learn! I got screwed on this deal. Oh well.
I looked all over the net for the trigger bolt and can’t find one. I found a trigger, tho.
Does anyone know where to get the bolt that holds the trigger to the action?
Thanks!
Josh

The old style Howa triggers used a flat head phillips drive screw to fix the trigger to the action. The later trigger used an allen head cap screw. Both are M4 x .7 pitch screws which is a common size and pitch. You can likely get one at Ace or a lot of other hardware stores. If not, PM me your address and which style you need.

Be sure you get the right trigger also if you don't want to modify it. The dimension between the alignment notch in the action and the attachment screw is different between the new and old style.
