Nice! I’ve got some room!Well as long as we are sharing, I have been cleaning up my lathe which is still in storage. That includes disassembling the compound and cross slide to service and adjusted everything to remove the backlash. I measured the spindle and it is within tenths. Very happy. While I was at it, I installed a new DRO.
Now I just need a shop to put her and all my other tools so I can start making chips.

I made these over the weekend !
I like that you brazed a tube to your shell, that was smart. I do something very similar however for every bullet I use I drill and tap (into the base of the bullet) the pitch/thread of an old aluminum cleaning rod and screw it into the bullet so it never gets stuck. It helps to have a jig to hold the bullet and a drill press to get straight and centerOK, well I needed a way to check my way to measure the length of my bullets when doing ladder tests with different bullets. I could buy the tool but it cost about $30.00.
Came up with my own way for the cost of about $3.00.
Took a case (6.5CM) drilled out the primer to .25". cut a slot in the neck, soldered a .25" brass tube to the primer area and used a solid brass rod to slip into the brass tube and allow me to push the bullet forward into the chamber until it touches the lands.
Use a cleaning rod and run down the barrel. until it touches the tip of the bullet. mark it and then remove the case and bullet. Most of the time the bullet will stay in the chamber when the case is removed. if this happens just tap the bullet out, put the marked cleaning rod into the barrel and then instert the empty case back in the chamber push the brass rod forward until it touches the cleaning rod, pull out and then measure the length of the case and rod.
Now I know my OAL for that bullet and can then increase the jump by seating bullet into primed and ready brass.
That will work too.I like that you brazed a tube to your shell, that was smart. I'm part Finlander. My first generation immigrant grand parents lived in northern Minnesota. They had a sauna but did not have a shower or a tub in the house. They (my grand parents, uncle, aunt and nephews) tried to cook me out when I was young by getting that thing so damn hot that you needed to cover your mouth lest you burn your lungs. I was bound and determined to never be the first to slither down off that top bench. I always made sure I was the last. It worked. Only took two days before they handed me the ladle to throw the water on. Paybacks are hell. I roasted their asses.if you live in Finland, you have to have sauna.
