Come on out to PA Jon. My wife and I have a big house, with lots of room.
Pa. is surrounded by non user friendly states , and are controlled by how the two or three urban areas vote. It is kinda like New York and I am sure if they accidently vote in the wrong governor will be in the same boat........
Couldn't the same be said about any, and all states?

The podcast was very interesting to say the least.I am assuming she is from madison wisconsin.
Yes, she is from Madison WI. Bills herself as a voice of reason in a city of chaos. Perhaps the only female conservative in that city?

My reply was based on the recent decision by the judge hearing the plea on repeal of the safe act.

The safe act is the current law like it or not.

iT WAS OBVIOUS THAT THE JUDGE WAS A LIBERAL

Just remember the next time voting comes around,

Keep the faith and keep on supporting the Repeal
Until then accept it

It is pretty much the same in Most states. There are some states that are more friendly for the foreseeable future. I was born in Pa. and recently traveled back there for a 6 week stay. It seems the way the economy , crime rate and other factors are there that it is ripe for some liberal thinking to grow. All for the greater good of the people of course.
I do know that even my hunting and firearms loving friends there all have the thought that , "Hey what are you gonna do" attitude. I feel bad for them , but they are the ones that stay..........

Comply for now, and every gun owner make it to the next election, all vote the same, and make the morons see what political suicide looks like.

We lived in New York for a year a while back when my wife was offered a faculty position at West Point. We left the pistols we owned at the time in a gun safe in another state while we got the feel of things and figured out the law. Once we determined the level of legal insanity, we found jobs in a different state and moved.

We also lived in Colorado for four years until we determined how committed they were to gun control and other Constitutional violations. Hearing state and local officials say, "You have no rights" enough times makes it clear that there are clear commitments to violate citizens fundamental liberty under the pretense of legitimate government functions.

We now live in a southern state that is much more aligned with our family values and the founding father's ideas of fundamental liberties. It ain't perfect, but it is much better than NY, IL, CA, and CO.

I really do recommend moving. Once a state commits to legal insanity and certain demographics make change unlikely, staying is just joining them in a long, slow slide into the abyss. One freedom you still have is the freedom to leave. God bless America. Time to vote with your feet.

Throw MD, NJ, CT, MA and DC to that list! Jon, I have been looking for "Snow Bird" housing and can get a very nice 1700 sq. ft. house, 30 miles north of the FL Gulf, for less than $50K! Eglin AFB(was stationed there a long time ago!) Reservation to hunt Deer, Pigs and Turkeys on. On the Ocean in 1/2 hr. for fishing! If I had a better personality I could be a Greeter at Wally World for "Gun Money"! LOL Only down side is the bugs but they won't kill ya! They don't get much more "Gun Friendly" than FL!

The problem with throwing in the towel is eventually your home state will be flooding the states that are more gun friendly..Lets face it, The red states have better employment and opportunity.. This administration is pushing libtard folks to move to Texas and such states.. You will be the next Colorado..

I wouldn't, registration leads to confiscation. It wouldn't surprise me if down the road they start referring to any scoped rifle as a "deadly sniper rifle". I would be willing to bet that you have a few as you are on this forum.

Don't register and chalk it up to civil disobedience. They can't put all of you in jail. I thought I heard that the Connecticut registration law wasn't being enforced due to widespread disobedience.

Kelly, I would invite you to Arizona, but you can't get a 1700 SF home for 50k there. No ocean either, but some nice large lakes with good fishing. And plenty of BLM land.

Don't get to comfortable with the BLM. Being controlled by the feds hard to say what will happen to it. If Obama does as Clinton, and Cater did, do not be surprised if it is turned into a Wilderness Area, National Monument, or National Park, by Executive Order when Obama leaves office.

Do you really think that the thousands of people who didn't register, will be jailed? Not happening.

The government would like to make everyone a felon, that way they could just tell you what rights your gonna have day by day...

My opinion is when one of us gets arrested, you take my place in jail for 10 or so years. It is easy to make your proclaimation to defy the law when it doesnt affect you personally. They(state and local police) are already making arrrests here and there to test the waters. Our govenor cumo wont back down like connecticuts gov did. There will be alot of arrests if cumo has his way period.Time will tell and I have a gut feeling it will get worse.

I would have left NY a long time ago. I wouldn't have tolerated all the stuff they have pulled. I am a hard headed individual while I am not taking someone else's place in jail they will have one hell of a time getting me there.
