Came across these pics in my phone and thought I would share. Had this design built the first year production of the Woodstock Soapstone Ideal Steel hybrid stove, 2 yrs now. The do great work. 
This is a copy of the target I shot at 300 for the first time specifically for the stove design. The high right was actually my 5th shot on the target that as soon as I pressed the trigger I know I screwed up. At first I said it it what it is and was going to use it that way. I just couldn't do it. I took the target back out the next day and took one more shot at it and put one more where it belonged. I left that one shot in the design as a reminder that not all goes as expected.

The case and drawers are held together with dovetails. No nails. Just finished it last Thursday. Now I can get back into making some stocks.
