I shoot savages cause that is what I can afford, but if I would have thought it thru I could have better, but i'm happy with what i have, it keeps me occupied and I get good personal results that I can brag about to myself.

having fun with and making the best out of what you have is what its all about and id bet youve learned more with that than if you'd gotten the accuracy just handed to you.

It's not the guns it's the scopes. And those canned hunting shows. Anyone can click onto a cow elk at 900 yards now days and give it a Texas head shot 3-4 times. At least that way you don't have to pack anything back to the truck. My buddy had some kid at the gun store trying to sell him a Long Range Stalker? He called me and we laughed, course this is the same buddy that about got us skewered at an archery event one time by saying it was a vegetarian convention. As far as those rigs that were pictured above, I am reminded that a fool and his money are soon parted.

you are correct and this site has helped me greatly, I have learned to milk a rifle better but could still try about 50 other things

Nobody in their right state of mind will put an actual real deal guarantee on what a rifle can do in the general public’s hands. Next thing you know its shooting a 3/4” group but when you spend an hour on the phone you realize theyre shooting core locts off a truck hood rest with a light jacket for a sandbag looking thru a 3x9 tasco shooting at a sharpie dot on a paper plate in a gravel pit. Even though a savage may shoot a .125” group id venture to say they dont advertise it. And when it dont they got a mad customer.

So where exactly were you hiding when you watched me shoot?
