I Have My 6mm Bullet Dies Up and Running

There is a need to wash the cores with vinegar after degreasing, for better adhesion?

I read conflicting opinions about it...

We had a good day at the range today. Thanks to a fellow shooter on this Forum, Phil Peterson, I was able to get a really good barrel on my 6BR.

I tried 4 powders with my bullets. H4895, Reloader 16, Accurate 2495, and N150. All shot decent, the Reloader 16 gave the best SD’s and ES’s, but the groups were sub par. Accurate 2495 was pretty good, but the Rifle really came to life with N150.

30.5 grns yielded an average 2880 FPS with SD’s in the 6 to 8 range. This is a standard 6BR with a .060 freebore. I’m .015 off the lands.

Here are the three groups I shot at 200 yards with the N150.4614EB58-9406-4689-86D5-764783183D11.jpeg

Probably next year I will get George to set me up with a complete 7mm bullet, probably in the 162 to 170 grn range.

And what I'm looking for. It's a huge open hole in the
market as I see it. Maybe a rendering of a rebated
boat tail in the 168 class weights. Maybe a 164 to be
an exclusive weight.
