I hate to post this but.. Tikka or CZ?

Right now I am leaning toward the CZ Varmint.. Maybe a Browning, but the CZ is lookin like it right now..

I have heard good things about CZ and Browning. Flipped a coin and tried a Browning Special Varmint. It shoots 2" groups, "all day long". Stick with the Tikka. Trust these opinions.

Both CZ and Tikka should shoot well. I'd guess the Tikka might have a slight chance of shooting better. But for "heirloom" qualities my heart will always be with the CZ.

My factory Tikka CTR in 6.5CM shoots 1/3moa 5 shot with factory ammo. love it.

What I don't like about tikka's

A. very long throats, can't touch the lands when rifle is brand new

B. can not load the rifle single feed from the loading port, has to be loaded from the plastic magazine

Deal killer for me

They make a bobsled for the magazine for single shot shooting.

Here are some we put together. The top one was my 6.5X47L. A absolute tack driver with 130gr VLD's over a case full of H4350.

The others are WSM calibers setup for long range hunting.

Tikka and get a lighter trigger spring from Ernie the Gunsmith. Super easy to install. Gets the trigger down to a crisp pound or less.

Does Ernie do other guns/calibers. Contact info for Ernie, please.

They must be different from the CTR, mine is as slick single shot through the port as I can imagine a sled would be.
