The P226s have nice single action triggers. The DA/SA triggers need some practice for me to get used to.
The 226s are awfully hard to beat.
When you find the thing that fits really well you should get multiples if you can.
Bob, please, no.I absolutely love all of my 226's but I don't care for the legions. I have a difficult time cocking the hammer with the extended beavertail.
The Sig P226 will always be my favorite handgun, ever. Its like Sig made if for MY hand.

So you have big hands then?Too small in my hands. Trigger guard needs lowered, especially forward of
the tip of the trigger instead of canted up. Maybe a little further forward.
Needs a flatter rear grip like my 1911 flat mainspring housing, Really dislike
the arch in my big hands, and just never warmed up to a DA. Still strapping
a 1911.......I have large hands.
I never said they weren't great guns, because they are. I just prefer the standard over the legion for ease of use for myself.Bob, please, no.
Legions and X5’s are heirlooms![]()
I don't either, outside of driving sales...I dont see the point of Legions. I put a better trigger in a standard 226 and have just as good a gun for less money.
