Bet that barrel got hot with all the possible targets that far out. Patience would be hard for me to come by when I see any target of opportunity. I'd melt down that 284 in the excitement.

A big congrats to you sir! Three years ago I took a 10" steel plate with a single shot sling/prone at a measured mile with four spotters on glass. I now stand humbled at you feat of shooting. For those of you that have never shot that far, everything needs to be right. The wind, mirage, terrain bullet travel and other not to mention top drawer equipment, ammo and the shooters frame of mind. Nay sayers can offer up excuses all day, but that is a very impressive shot.
