Happy holidays to all
I have a remington 700 chambered in 6x44br......built by seeley masker in 1980 with 2 bbls 14 twist .....inherited from a friend who passed.....his reload data was 34.5 grains of imr 4895 with 70 grain hollister and 70 grain Sierra hpbt match.......had some of his old loaded ammo shot really great......tried some with current imr 4895 not so good
I acquired 3 forming dies to resize the old remington 30 ubr brass ,rough trimmed and neck turned for .063 neck.....i also aquired some custom sizing and seating dies........going to fire form them using his old data.....my question is does any members have some data for this cartridge....using different powders and bullets..?.I have read about people shooting heavy bullets but this is a 1: 14 so the heaviest would be 80 gr.....thanks for any help
