300_whisper, do you have a preference between those two brands of stocks? Thanks!Full length like bell and Carlson
Thanks maxscm, that’s great info for me. I’m familiar with HS, was curious about the quality of Bell Carlson.The "No-Palm Swell" version HS Precision Stock has a smaller Diameter Grip than the Bell/Carlson.
The "With a Palm Swell" HS Precision Stock Has a Larger
Diameter Hand Grip than the Bell Carlson Stock.
So there is a:
Small= HS with No Palm Swell.
Medium= Bell Carlson.
Large=HS with Palm Swell.
Hope this helps.
Both are Nice Stocks But the HS are Better Stocks.

I like bell and Carlson stock designs better. I can’t tell a difference in quality between HS and BC. They are both nice stocks though and will make you happy either way, just dependent on what style you want. My personal favorite is the BC M40.
That B&C M40 is nice, always wanted one.
So, How can I identify a HS precision stock?Does the HS precision have a full length aluminum block or just at the recoil lug and action on a R700 Varmint stock?
You go to the HS website and compare yours with their products. I have 4 HS stocks and 2 B&C I will take the HS 10 to 1 over the B&CSo, How can I identify a HS precision stock?
What kind of BR? Weight is an issue with these stocks in some disciplines.How do you know the grip size? Would you pick based on your glove size? Shooting Benchrest is it important? Asking as I am having a BR stock being made now.
Ben
