Depends on the scope you are useing. If it has 40 moa of vertical adjustment and scope is optically centered and nothing is out of wack with your action barrel or mounting system it should zero at 100 yards. Preferably i would want at least 50 moa scope travel so i was not maxed out on the erector tube.

The rifle in the picture does not look like a mini. Too long. I used Remington 700 two piece bases on my mini. I don't know if the one piece Remington base is the same length as the Howa. Maybe someone with experience can answer that.

I'm pleased with my mini but by the time I bought a good walnut stock from Brownell, Dip bottom metal to replace the plastic crap, and rebarreled to 20 VT
I could have shopped for a used Cooper. I still haven't addressed the mediocre trigger.
