How to remove a single shot follower

I need to remove a glued in single shot follower on my Remington 700. I dont have a torch and I heard an iron will work? What setting do I use?
Has anyone made a video showing a good way to do this? I just want to see it before I try it. I searched you tube, and see a few how to install, but not take out.

Wes, a heat gun will probably work great.. just heat the aluminum insert untill it “sizzles spit”. Then it should pop right off.

I am assuming this is a stripped action.

No need to heat it....just tap it out using a block of wood from the top down, scrape out the residue, and reuse if desired. Done several like this glued with JB.
