Install single shot follower

I am setting up a 700 action for my target rifle, and possible switch barrel gun. I want the devcon / jb weld the follower(Hart) to the action. I am only 95% sure I will never want to remove it. If I use the JB/Devcon but apply the kiwi to the action and just don't tap it/ break it loose will that keep it tight for years? Until I really " hammer it out"? Maybe just a little release agent or leave two spots mechanically locked?
Wanted input from anyone that has glued in a single shot follower.
Thanks
Troy

Don't use any release agent at all. If you want to take it out some day, just hit it with a propane torch for a minute and it will knock right out. NO epoxy is permanent in the eyes of a torch.

Troy, why not use the Score High single shot sled ?

Fits on top of your existing follower and is held in place by upward pressure from the

magazine spring.

Available in long and short action Remington 700s., as those are the ones I've used.

Possibly made for other actions as well.

No muss, no fuss and no epoxy to worry about removing later.

Regards and good shooting,

Steve

Thanks for the replies. It is a single shot 40x stock. I have no spring, follower or cut out in stock for the mag. Also I thought it would provide a larger bedding surface.
