How to clean nylon brushes after bore cleaning?

Anything with water is a very poor choice in my opinion. Don’t care if the barrel is stainless or not.

I use Throttle Body/Mass Air Flow Sensor cleaner. Designed to break down carbon and any other residues so it gets them really clean and dries really fast. Can find cheap aerosol cans of TB cleaner at Tractor Supply. Think I paid $3 per can last time I bought a bunch of them. Brake Cleaner works very well too.

I made a parts cleaner tub from a 50 cal ammo can and a piece of quarter inch hardware cloth. filled with Stoddard solvent. I just swish it around it there. I use the can to soak BCG to soften carbon over night. any parts that need degreased.

Brake cleaner.

If I get bored, I'll get out the little ultrasonic cleaner. Lots of crap comes out of them, and cleans any corrosion off the copper/brass bits.

After I use iosso bore cleaner on a nylon bore brush on my bore cleaning rod, even after I clean of the remaining bore cleaning paste off with a rag, there remains considerable gunk between bristle rows on the bore brush. I have tried spraying the gunked bore brush with Blaster penetrating fluid and it gets some off but there's still a bunch of gunk left on the brush between bristle rows. Could just buy more nylon bore brushes or just set the dirty/gunked bore brush aside for use next time. However, maybe you all know how to get the gunk out. Thoughts?
Dawn dishwashing soap works good.

I have one very similar in my reloading room. Works well for keeping the Dillon clean etc….Never used it for cleaning brushes though. I usually use a small nylon brush and alcahol to clean Iosso off of bore brushes after use.
I'd be careful about using any compressed air in an enclosure such a work shop. You could breath in chemical particles or the particles could fall onto eyes, skin, or hair. Also I'd be careful about using sprays like brake cleaner in an enclosure. The mixing of chemicals to clean the brush is also another hazard. And washing a brush in a kitchen sink where you might be washing dishes or preparing food is also not a good idea.

Ok so we’re up to 37 repleys on how to clean a brush that you cleaned your barrel with seam not to long ago there was hot topic on don’t ever use a brush to clean your barrel , I see now how people coming here could get confused.

Dawn soap and sonic cleaner
I have thought about tapping several holes in a scrap piece of Delrin to hold the brushes vertically in my sonic cleaner, haven't tried it yet.

I am more concerned about residual micro abrasives from combustion of powder and primers staying on the brush than actual solvents and cleaning agents.
