How to clean nylon brushes after bore cleaning?

After I use iosso bore cleaner on a nylon bore brush on my bore cleaning rod, even after I clean of the remaining bore cleaning paste off with a rag, there remains considerable gunk between bristle rows on the bore brush. I have tried spraying the gunked bore brush with Blaster penetrating fluid and it gets some off but there's still a bunch of gunk left on the brush between bristle rows. Could just buy more nylon bore brushes or just set the dirty/gunked bore brush aside for use next time. However, maybe you all know how to get the gunk out. Thoughts?

This is one of my great conundrums I'm currently working on.
I have found that Flitz bore cleaner will wash off with a few squirts of a 'general' gun cleaner like Slip 2000 or MPro 7.
But, Flitz is runnier and needs to be 'refreshed' after 15-20 strokes.

I have a small plastic bowl where I put the dirty brushes when cleaning my rifle, I immediately take it to the kitchen sink and clean them with hot water rinse, then add dish soap and some agitation and another rinse.
This stops the copper remover reaction from the bronze brushes and the stream of hot water removes the remaining Iosso

1/2 HP Senco "micro" air compressor.

About useless for any "manly" chores.... might power a brad nailer? Might even run an artist airbrush?

Bought one to go in the loading room. It's Goldilocks, not too big,not to small... just right. Put a coil hose and air nozzle on mine.Perfect for gun stuff.

I have one very similar in my reloading room. Works well for keeping the Dillon clean etc….Never used it for cleaning brushes though. I usually use a small nylon brush and alcahol to clean Iosso off of bore brushes after use.

I'm divorced now.

So I just throw em in the dishwasher in the silverware tray.
