How popular are CCI 450 Small Rifle Primers?

I happen to be in Houma Louisianna on a job, and stopped at at a gun store that has 4000 for $105 a thousand.

I have never used the CCI 450’s. I might buy them just to have them.

Another store has 2 one pound cans of H4895 for $43 a pound, and 6 cans of Varget for $63 a pound.

The CCI 450 work really good in the 6BR wildcats that are lengthened like the dasher, 6BRX, and 6BRA, etc.

I found some Varget and H4350 at a lgs yesterday for $360.00 for 8 pounder’s.

They're my go-to primer with LT-32 in the PPC.

@jackieschmidt, the CCI 450's are like the Chevy or Ford of primers, they will work
in just about any SRP application. Maybe not the best in all situations,
but a good second choice. Have a bunch just in case.

This is my combination, with H4350. I have tried a few different bullets occasionally. But I don't mess with the primer or case.
