Would dry firing be an option for you?Weather is just starting to break around here. I’ve been out shooting the last two days. It wasn’t pretty. I’m wondering how often others try and get to the range. If I don’t get trigger time every three or four days, my results suffer.
+1^^^What JimPg says. I pretty much shoot at leat 1 (sometimes 2) matches every weekend. Best practice there is. Now at almost 75 what I need to practice most is tightening my rest, bringing the correct ammo, the bolt that matches the gun......The list goes on. Practice without flags is a waste. Tuning without flags is a waste.
When I was chasing a shield, I tried to practice 2X a week, primarily standing (which i always sucked at) and I worked on all positions every day for muscle memory while dry-firing. Switched to an AR in early 1994 when JLK had 80gr projectiles...got my 3 gold medals and went out.Weather is just starting to break around here. I’ve been out shooting the last two days.
