During peak of COVID....almost no shooting for a year. When my son and I returned to shooting regularly both of our scores showed it (suffered a bit).
We hit it hard and heavy in preparation for the Camp Perry Long Range National Matches....Both of our scores came up, but for Dylan (my 18-year-old son) his scores came up significantly with the heavy practice and shooting club match's every weekend.
For him it was not just a fluke...he set the 600 yard-60 round records at two different ranges in just a few week's (597-36x & 597-35x).
After that, his dating a girl that lives about six hours away.......not so much practicing shooting (firearms). I feel he should have sone better at the TSRA state mid-range championship matches. He came in 2nd Place by just a few points.......Oh well at eighteen I guess at least he has his priority's straight.
