How many primers?

As my primer cups get full i have been dumping into an empty ice cream bucket. For fun, how many do you suppose are in there?

Here's what you should do...Buy a new Nightforce. Count the primers and have a contest. Closest guess gets the scope!!

Over the years I have filled two 8 lb powder jugs and at least five one pounders equivalent primers. HOW MANY THERE?!?!?!

Dang!

Now you want to brag on spent primer piles and I already used most of mine to "gravel" the driveway. Glad I already won the Nightforce!

More than 100! Did I win again?

When I get me a big pile of Nightforces, I'll let you guys guess how many are in it!

Pres100,
I've got a large freezer bag @ 90% filled, I'm afraid to pick it up and this doesn't count the primers I didn't save from loading at the range. It's just amazing to see how many rounds you've fired by saving spent primers.

Figuring at 25000 primers , that many powder loads, plus bullets, plus barrels.......... That's 2 years at a good college.

I see $$$ in that bucket. Scrap brass is around $1.50 per pound now a days. Twenty five pounds of dead ones will buy a brick of live ones.

I weighed it and the bucket was approx 19 lbs. At 3.2 gr per SR primer that would be approx 41,000 give or take. with a mix of SR adn LR I would imagine it would be close to around 35,000 (the vast majority are SR)

Good Grief! What's with all these zombie threads? This is the third one in as many days. Thankfully, the admins are shutting them down.
