45acp primer question

I looked at Tommy's post about being a brass hoarder. I thought to myself I wonder if he even understands the depths of this obsession. Maybe we need to have a competition to see who is actually obsessed and who just thinks he/she is a hoarder. Maybe I am just a rank armature?

Last Christmas I gifted 5gal buckets of cleaned & sorted brass (9mm, 45ACP, 223/5.56) to family and friends. I freed up like 8 buckets worth of space in the closet under my staircase. As a child my dad ingrained the lesson of cleaning up after shooting. It’s not my fault I have some OCD and looked at doing “duck walk” as a hip/leg mobility workout. It was never my intention to be a hoarder :)

Last years I took in 7 55gal barrels to the scrapyard to pay for a new roof on the house and other repairs. Sadly the range I got all of this from was a public free range and the state closed it down. Now they built a new pay by the hour range about 5 miles down the road on land given to them by a guy that died. He wanted them to build a new range that was safer, but not a pay range. He is probably a little pissed right now.

I used brass there to pay for all of my guns and reloading cost. This year was the first time since 94 that /i had to use money I did not get from the brass I picked up.

Unrelatedly.... Norma 9mm brass uses these tiny little primer holes, for which some Norma executive should be taken out and beaten within an inch of his life.

Or further.
